I graduated in 2009 with an associates degree in Massage Therapy. I am licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board for massage therapy, and am a member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association). I have also had further training in massage of depressed clients as well as massage of those suffering from PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder). I have also had the pleasure of being a Hospice of Miami County volunteer, and was able to offer massages to those under Hospice care.
I became a massage therapist to help impact the physical, mental, and spiritual lives of women and children. My approach to massage is to understand the total person and begin each massage with that individual in mind. My clients often wonder how a gentle touch can be so effective in relieving severely tight muscles, my response: intent. The intent that each massage is given will produce a response within the client and therapist. My intent is positive, encouraging, and comforting. God has truly blessed me with the gift of helping others, and I hope to continue to learn and grow with each client.
